Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you travel for work?

Yes! Depending on distance and requirements of the shoot,  travel and accommodations will be included in the quote.

2. Do you accept alternative paymnt such as exposure?

Exposure would not be considered acceptable payment. However, I am open to discussion to provide photography services in exchange for goods and services of equal or greater value. An example would be personal training, lessons, event tickets, etc.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Upon scheduling, a $100.00 non refundable deposit is required to lock in the date. The deposit will be deducted from the final price. If for any reason the appointment needs to be rescheduled, the deposit MAY be transferred if the request to transfer is made no more that 14 calendar days prior to the scheduled date. Cancelations are non refundable. If for any reason I would need to cancel, the deposit would be refunded in full if  a future date cannot be booked.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

The client will receive a gallery link where they can download web friendly and print ready digital images. I do not directly provide prints and would recommend reaching out to a local print shop with the print friendly files. However, you may purchase prints from the Pixieset store.

5. Do you have a recommended videographer?

If you require videography services, I have a short list of individuals that I can recommend! I do not subcontract, but do work well side by side with my recommendations.

6. What can we expect in terms of edit style?

Depending on the sport, environment, and conditions, various edit styles are used that best emphasize the final look. This is also dependent on what the contract specifies. You can expect simple clean shots, gritty B&W, film simulations, and high detail emphasis just ti name a few.  

7. Can we meet before the session?

Depending on the requirements of the shoot, I myself may request to visit the location as to familiarize myself with the space. For any shoot, I do come at least 1 hour before the actual shoot for site prep. Meeting up prior to the shoot day may be arranged if it is found beneficial to both parties.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

Final delivery will be based on the scope of the project. For example, if capturing a single hockey game, 1-3 days delivery. If capturing a multi-day tournament with multiple teams, this can take 1-2 weeks after the tournament ends.
